I've still had no success at arranging a meeting space suitable for a 
presentation for the Oct 25th meeting (next Thursday).

However, I've found a couple of good possibilities for November, 
although I believe the normal meeting date would be on or around 
Thanksgiving (Nov 22), so we'd probably need to pick a different date. 
Do the group organizers already have a date in mind?

At this point, assuming people agree that trying to hold a talk in the 
diner is not a good idea, I'd like to propose that I'll undertake to 
arrange a space for the November meeting, and give a talk at that 
meeting on the SPJ/Eber paper about composing financial contracts.

I still plan to attend the Oct 25 meeting, btw.
